This regulation establishes tolerances for residues of permethrin in celtuce; cherry subgroup 12-12A; fennel, florence, fresh leaves and stalks; leaf petiole vegetable subgroup 22B; peach subgroup 12-12B; swiss chard; tea, plucked leaves; vegetable, tuberous and corm, subgroup 1C and fruit, small, vine climbing, except fuzzy kiwifruit, subgroup 13-07F. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conducted a risk assessment on its toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children, and finally concluded that the established residue limits are safe.
