This announcement explains that the registration of processed foods in the Directorate of Processed Foods that follows the labelling requirements in Regulation 31 of 2018 takes effect from 20 July 2020. The labelling requirements focus on the mandatory provision for quantitative ingredients declaration to include contents of characterising ingredients and declaration of allergens by cross-contamination that should follow the guidelines published in 2019
