The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has reached an agreement in principle on the introduction of labeling of certain types of dairy products as soon as the member states are ready. Discussion of specific deadlines, no earlier than which a ban on the circulation of unmarked goods can be introduced, is currently being completed. The estimated dates of implementation are fixed in the draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, which announced its readiness to introduce marking.
