Mentions from government bodies declined, suggesting a return to more typical monitoring intensity after the heightened scrutiny observed in September and October. Control cases continued to dominate the landscape, with recalls consistently holding their position as the second most frequent type of incident, reinforcing the long-standing pattern of regulatory focus on verification and corrective actions.

Product-wise, generic and mixed food categories again led the incident distribution, followed by meat products, fruits and vegetables, and prepared foods, all maintaining strong visibility. Regionally, the Russian Federation, China, and India remained among the most common origins of reported issues, while several European countries continued to appear prominently.
